HARE is a nature-centric community co-operative based in Hazel Wood near Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire. Our purpose is to nurture the well-being of people in the Forest of Dean through mindful connection with the natural world, creativity, community & spirituality.
We run community workshops, events and courses in our woodland. We are currently on our annual Winter break. Our services will resume in Spring 2026.

Land Stewardship & Volunteering
Would you like to spend more time in nature and meet like-minded people? Join our monthly Land Stewardship days, helping us care for our woodland, or join us for a team and volunteers food & fire evening to meet our team and find out more about how you can collaborate with us.

Seasonal Celebrations
At HARE it is important to us to connect with nature through each season.
Join us for seasonal celebrations throughout the year at our woodland site near Mitcheldean. Our next seasonal celebration is our Ostara Garden Party on 28th March.
