Contribute to your local community by supporting our Volunteer Land Stewardship Days. Running on the last Saturday of each month from 10:30am until around 3:00pm. Except for August, as this is bank hol weekend, so we will meet the following week. You are welcome to join us for part or all of the day. Bring a packed lunch.  Hot drinks provided.

 

The types of tasks will be:

Planting willow

Maintaining trees

Sawing up & stacking firewood

Bramble & bracken bashing/Strimming

Maintaining paths

Helping build dead hedges

Helping build structures & pallet furniture

Putting up or taking down shelters

Sanding & painting

Building raised beds for growing herbs

Building an outdoor kitchen

 Building a wood store

Creating a second base camp

Putting up shelters before workshops

Each month we will focus on a specific project, and do some other jobs alongside.  Sometimes this may change due to the weather.​​
