Are you looking for a bespoke, rustic, natural and eco-friendly celebration for your birthday, your child's birthday or another special occasion?
Join us at Hazel Wood site near Mitcheldean for an outdoor celebration in nature.
Children's Birthday Parties
At HARE we love to help your family celebrate your child's birthday. We offer 2 hour Forest School birthday parties, led by a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader and supported by our staff experienced working with children.
We spend 2 hours playing games, building dens, completing crafts that the children can take home with them and roasting marshmallows around a camp fire.
All activities are seasonal but can also be planned to cater for the birthday child’s interest, for example, woodland fairies or a particular woodland animal.
The site is available for a further half an hour for you and your guests to enjoy birthday cake and food. Food is not included. It can be provided by you or we can recommend a local caterer who can provide children's party food. You can eat sitting in our log circle around the camp fire, under our shelter, or at our picnic area.
We also offer neuro-friendly small group birthday parties.
Bookable dates are limited, so please book in advance.

Various other seasonal crafts and activities can be available. If there is something your child would like to do, please let us know. Use of our slack lines, rope swings, hammocks, mud kitchen and our fire circle with canopy shelter is included in the party package.
Prices & Booking

Two hour birthday parties start from £200 for up to ten children. Additional children £12 each, 20 children max.

Grown-Ups
Our "Food & Fire" evenings are perfect for your celebration. Based mainly around the fire, for an ambient catch up with your friends, our parties for grown ups are a great way to celebrate in a natural environment.
Activities can include any of the above. We can also bring in specialist crafts tutors to teach more complex natural crafts, such as wood working, willow weaving, jewellery making or wool crafts, at an additional cost. Booking is available in the evening. You can bring food to share or we can provide any of the above.
Please note that we aren't licenced for alcohol.
Accommodation is available for up to 35 people, with our partner Oakraven Field Centre.
