Making Outdoors Accessible for More Families
We set up our welly and waterproof library so that we could help more families experience the mental, emotional, physical and educational benefits of being outdoors, all year round.
HARE Welly & Waterproof Library
Getting outdoors with young children can be hard work, even though it's always well worth it. It can also be costly, especially when you need outdoor kit for more than one child. When your child grows out of their wellies and waterproofs, come and swap them for the next size up at our welly and waterproof library. If you don't have any wellies or waterproofs, come and loan them from the library. Our items are available for short term or long term loan.

How to use the Welly & Waterproof Library
When your child grows out of their wellies and waterproofs, come and swap them for the next size up. Whatsapp Charlie on 07761164352 and let her know what you need and what size. Charlie will let you know what is currently in the library and arrange for you to collect. If you don't have any items to swap, come and loan them. Once your child grows out of them, bring them back and swap for the next size up. The items currently in the library are above. We try to keep this as up to date as we can.
Donate
Help us to help more families get outdoors and save unwanted outdoor kit going to landfill.
Please donate any waterproof or outdoor clothing or wellies.
We accept the following items:

Sturdy storage boxes with lids (to store the library kit).
You can drop them off to us during one of our Forest School workshops (with prior arrangement), or you can arrange a drop off elsewhere by emailing info@harecic.co.uk or whatsapp/phone 07761164352.
