Willow Workshop

Weave with nature, craft, meditation and mindfulness. Tutor Becky Gunton has taught basketry for over 30 years.
Connect with nature in our beautiful ancient woodland, Hazel Woods, near Mitcheldean.  Learn to weave a seasonal willow wreath with specially prepared and foraged materials.

Workshop Description
Weave a seasonal willow wreath while learning the history, folklore, symbolism and significance of materials that can be woven into it i.e. bay leaves symbolising protection and wisdom, dandelion for resilience & hope. You can also add colourful ribbon, jute and wool and learn the chakras and emotions the colours represent.
