Service Description
Weave with nature, craft, meditation and mindfulness. Learn to weave a seasonal willow wreath with specially prepared and foraged materials. Tutor Becky Gunton has taught willow weaving & basketry for over 30 years. Workshop Date Sunday 26th April 2026 - 10am -1pm Workshop Description Celebrate Beltane, the peak of Spring, by weaving a seasonal willow wreath, while learning the history, folklore, symbolism and significance of materials that can be woven into it i.e. bay leaves symbolising protection and wisdom, dandelion for resilience & hope. You can also add colourful ribbon, jute and wool and learn the chakras and emotions the colours represent. Includes a guided fireside meditation and poem. The workshop will be fully outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Refreshments included. Please note that workshops need to be full to at least 75% capacity to be viable. Please share this with any friends who may be interested to help us fill the spaces and ensure the workshop can go ahead.
